According to a recent permit filing, La Frontera has filed to take over the former Woody’s Tacos space in Vancouver at 809 Washington Street.

A representative of La Frontera was not immediately available to comment upon What Now Portland’s request.
While an official opening date and what the assumption means for La Frontera have yet to be confirmed, according to the permit filing, La Frontera has filed for a spirits, beer, and wine rest lounge + permission.
La Frontera was filed under Frontier Public House Lp. Washington Company Search states that Frontier Public House Lp was incorporated on November 3rd, 2022.
Oswaldo Lopez and Sergio Plascencia are listed on the LLC and permit. Oswaldo, according to the search, is stated to also be behind Ozzieo’s LLC.
Compstak’s property listing states, “Built in 1947, this 1-story retail property spans 2,512 SQFT. Notable tenants in the building include Woody’s Taco.” Loop Net adds that the property type is for a bar/tavern.
Visit Vancouver Washington’s website described Woody’s Tacos as “serving fresh, authentic Baja-style Mexican cuisine inspired by decades of adventures in Mexico and the Baja California Gold Coast. The tacos, burritos, quesadillas and tostadas contain cultural and culinary influences from south of the border.”
