According to a recent permit filing, Mezbaan Mahal has filed for a downtown location at 710 SW 2nd Avenue Suite L1.
A representative of Mezbaan Mahal was not immediately available to comment upon What Now Portland’s request.
While an official opening date and what Mezbaan Mahal plans to offer have yet to be confirmed, according to the company website, they will be “launching soon.”
For the property itself, according to Coldwell Banker Homes, the property was home to Sensei Sushi and Grill. Google has not marked Sensei Sushi and Grill as closed. The property was built in 1967 and boasts 1,800 square feet of space.
