“Taking over the former home of pizza purveyor Please Louise, which closed last week, Ruse anticipates a stylish destination that incorporates numerous elements — serving as its third taproom, its second Crust Collective pizzeria and its first foray into cocktail culture. The co-founders hope to have work complete and open the location in November.”
“Ruse co-founders Devin Benware and Shaun Kalis say they will create an environment in step with the Slabtown’s retail district, one that offers a spot where patrons can have a casual pint and watch a game — or have a date over top-notch cocktails in a stylish, artful space.”
“Operating under the Crust Collective name, the location will also introduce a menu of classic pub sandwiches alongside the Detroit-style pizza. It will offer online ordering for pickup or delivery, six to eight taps of Ruse beer and possibly cider, plus the cocktails and wine menu.”
According to Ruse Brewing’s website, “We brew small batch, flavorful, and thoughtfully-crafted beers. We work with local artists and musicians to design beers paired with their art for concept events and beer releases. Our community is a major inspiration for our company vision, we will do what it takes to be involved and support other businesses and organizations.”
