According to a recent permit filing, Jo’s Deli has filed for 3534 SE 52nd Avenue in Southeast Portland.
A representative of Jo’s Deli was not immediately available to comment upon What Now Portland’s request.
While an official opening date and what Jo’s Deli plans to offer have yet to be confirmed, according to the permit filing, Mingyu Jiang Lee is behind the concept.
The permit states that the planned days of operation will be Monday through Saturday from 11 AM to 10:30 PM. Sunday will be 12 PM to 10:30 PM. There will be no seasonal variations for Jo’s Deli’s hours.
Mingyu has also been listed to be behind Spot 7 Deli, located in Gresham. A previous What Now Portland article states, “Additional information listed on the permit filing confirms that Mingyu Jiang is behind Spot 7. When doing a bit more research on Mingyu, it looks like they’re also behind Lucky Play LLC or Lucky Lucky in Gresham.”
The address listed on Jo’s Deli’s permit, according to Google, is home to Ed’s Deli. Google and Yelp have not marked Ed’s Deli as closed.
