“McMinnville will be opening in just two weeks. We’re shooting for May for the Cedar Mill location, but have been focused on opening McMinnville first. It’s going to be similar to the Happy Valley location with the same menu, however, the space is not as big. It’s about 800 square feet smaller than Happy Valley,” principal owner, Tim Schoenheit told What Now Portland.

“We try to create a good, open space with flexible seating options. The overall aesthetic is clean, and modern. Of the three new locations when including Happy Valley, the Cedar Mill location we had signed first but will be the last to open since we had a lot of construction delays.”

The McMinnville location will reside at 1031 NE Lafayette Avenue, while the Cedar Mill location resides at the corner of 118th Avenue and Barnes Road.

According to the article from New School Beer that was previously mentioned, “Stickmen Brewing Company opened in prime real estate on Lake Oswego’s namesake body of water in 2012. Founded by Tim Schoenheit and John Turner, the original name was Stickmen Brewery & Skewery because the food focus was on Japanese-style skewers like Yakitori and noodles and stir fry, but a few years later they dropped that theme and settled on traditional American brewpub fare.”

“While the initial Stickmen beers were highly experimental with ingredients like bay leaves and cucumber, and some fermented with sake yeast, that also went away after they opened their larger production facility in Tualatin and began canning and distribution.”

“Currently, Stickmen’s headquarters are at their production brewery and beer hall in Tualatin. Both new locations will follow the same concept as Tualatin and Happy Valley. Wood-fired pizzas, salads, appetizers, beer, wine, cider, and a limited craft cocktail menu. Family-friendly atmosphere and dog-friendly patios.”
