“I’m hoping to open in time to enjoy some of our lovely summer evenings on the patio!  I’ve submitted everything to the OLCC, but the process could take several weeks, so I don’t have a firm date,” owner Sarah Dubrule told What Now Portland.

“Those who know and love Carnelian Coffee can look forward to visiting twice a day now–in the evenings on Friday and Mondays, Moully’s will be here with some hand-selected bottles of wine for take away and a rotating glass pour menu for enjoying on-site.”

“I want to share wine that I’m excited about with my neighbors–and I’m stoked to get other people excited about it, too.  The hope is to just have fun with it.”

“Moully’s is named after one of my cats, Moully.  It sounds vaguely French so it seemed like a good fit for a wine bar–and I thought it’d be funny to hear people say, “Let’s go to Moully’s.”  (To my cat’s house! ha!)”

“I’ve always enjoyed wine and have gone through various stages of obsession–I love learning about it, talking about it, and drinking it, and sharing it feels like the logical next step.  I’ve met a lot of interesting people through wine and I want to foster the same kind of connection among folks in our lovely little part of Foster Powell.”

Moully’s liquor license states that the planned days of operation will be Friday and Saturday, including outdoor operating hours with a food and alcohol service option. Both the indoor and outdoor areas will be open from 6 PM to 9 PM on both days listed.
