According to a recent permit filing, Contrarian’s Game Cafe has filed for a location in Vancouver at 14313 NE 20th Avenue Suite A112.

A representative of Contrarian’s Game Cafe was not immediately available to comment upon What Now Portland’s request.

According to Contrarian’s Instagram biography, the game cafe plans to open sometime this summer. Behind Contrarian’s Game Cafe is Keith Weatherwax.

The company website provides an about me section for Keith, stating, “I’ve never had one clear goal in my head before wanting to open a place for ‘friends who become family’ to gather through board gaming, and this store has been 14 years in the making.”

“I have a passion for hobby gaming of all types, it brings people together and gives us a chance to be who we are on the inside.”
