According to an article from New School Beer, 10 Barrel Brewing & Widmer Brothers will be opening a pub at the Portland Timbers stadium, located at 1844 SW Morrison St.
A representative of 10 Barrel Brewing and Widmer Brothers was not immediately available for commentary upon What Now Portland’s request.
While an official opening date for the pub has yet to be revealed, according to the article, this will be a multi-year deal.
“Widmer Brothers and 10 Barrel will become the official craft beer partners of the Timbers, and create new beers and experiences around the games. Both brands were previously owned by Anheuser-Busch but were recently purchased by Tilray Brands, and are now considered independent craft breweries again based on Brewers Association standards.”
“10 Barrel’s Pub Beer has been named as the official Patio Beer, unveiling the “Pub Beer Patio,” a new general admission section, and the first standing-room-only section in the stadium. The partnership includes the unveiling of the ‘World’s Smallest Dive Bar’ complete with the fixings that make for a bar a true dive — complete with a dart board, pool cues, and Pub Beer neon lights leading to the taps.”
