A representative of Chipotle was not immediately available for commentary upon What Now Portland’s request.

While an official opening date has yet to be confirmed, behind the development is Maj Development Corporation.

“An existing 2,376 SqFt quick-service restaurant will soon be redeveloped into a Chipotle restaurant with indoor and outdoor dining. This location will feature a “Chipotlane” for drive-up customers to retrieve orders made on the Chipotle app for smartphones,” Maj Development’s website states.

Chipotle’s website tells us more about the widespread restaurant chain, “Since our beginning in 1993, Chipotle has been committed to serving Food with Integrity and revolutionizing the fast food Industry. Our real ingredients are responsibly sourced and classically cooked with people, animals, and the environment in mind. Everything is connected.”

“An innovator in restaurant technology, Chipotle continues to invest in emerging solutions to support its growing digital business and reduce friction in its restaurants. We believe technology deployed consistently and correctly can improve the human experience.”

“Chipotle Mexican Grill established the Chipotle Cultivate Foundation in 2011 to extend its commitment to make real food accessible to all. Today, it has expanded upon that mission and is dedicated to Cultivating a Better World in the communities it serves.”
