A representative of Kascadia Brewery & Public House was not immediately available to comment upon What Now Portland’s request.

While an official opening date has yet to be confirmed, according to the permit, Kascadia was filed for under 54-40 Brewing Company LLC. Bolt and Amy Minister are the founders of 54-40 Brewing, according to the company website.

A message from Bolt from the website states, “My favorite pastime has always been sharing good times with family and friends over beers. It’s these enduring moments shared over a pint at a pub, or beers around the campfire that make and keep relationships with the ones we love. It’s that sentiment that informs the beer we brew.”

“We make easy-drinking beers that bring folks together. Our proper German-style beers and NW ales are crafted to comfort people around their shared activities and we couldn’t be happier to have a spot at the table.”
